FRENCH OUTREACH AWARDS: MOHED ALTRAD, ALTRAD GROUP PRESIDENT, RECIPIENT OF THE ECONOMIC OUTREACH AWARD

During an award ceremony held in the Salons du Quai d’Orsay, Altrad Group President, Mohed Altrad, was awarded the Prix du Rayonnement Economique, or French Economic Outreach Award. The ceremony took place in the presence of the French Minister of Europe and Foreign Affairs, Jean-Yves Le Drian, and French Minister of Culture, Franck Riester, and 400 invitees including many French members of parliament and ambassadors.

Established in 2009 by Joëlle Garriaud-Maylam, the French Outreach Awards annually honours women and men who promote French values over all the World’s continents.

The Awards also celebrate individual and collective initiatives who promote the image of a modern, innovative and diverse France. Besides the honours, the Awards is a call-to-action for younger generations who are the carriers of tomorrow ideas and solutions.

Laureates are selected based on their varied personal and collective involvement in French diplomacy, whether in an economic, cultural, gastronomic, humanitarian, touristic, francophone or environmental context.

The 2019 edition included nine laureates.
